JC Finn is the debut author of Mist Whispers, the first book of the Mist Whispers Saga. Though her degrees are in biology and epidemiology, her first love has always been writing and reading science fiction and fantasy. She currently lives with her husband, four children, and a menagerie of pets in the Washington, D.C. area.

- When I first launched into the world, I thought my future would naturally fall neatly into place. Life, however, had different ideas. Since then, I have been a soldier, a flight medic, an at-home mom, a counterterrorism analyst, and even an epidemiologist, trekking the Congolese borderlands to fight Ebola. It has been a wild ride through the sands and mountains of Iraq and Afghanistan, the emerald glens of Northern Ireland, and the verdant jungles of Uganda and Australia. In my writing, I bring the beauty and the brokenness, the hope and humanity from all these places to create a mystical and magical land I hope you want to live in as much as I do.
